Inspiration

This piece is rich in numerous aesthetic and symbolic references.

Inspired by the allegories of Alphonse Mucha , it represents a figure of feminine power.

Power & Devotion

The term "mascaron" is here twisted into "Mascaronne," in order to give the feminine figure the same symbols and functions as her male counterpart.

The rays emanating from the goddess's face are inspired by the aesthetics inherited from popular devotional art: ex-votos, stained glass windows, or icons.

Trust

This character was imagined as a goddess whose radiance protects the person who wears her.
